Technical Description

To match the various needs of breeding, more sophisticated genome engineering tools and methods are being developed that include novel RNA-guided genome editing tool, diversification of specific locus of genome, stable transformation of plant organelles, and alternative way of chromosome recombination.

Application Destination

  • Diversification and screening of useful gene functions
  • Genetic manipulation of chloroplasts and mitochondrial genes
  • Chromosomal rearrangement
